Website development costs depend on the job it needs to do. A consultation page, multi-service business site and online store need different amounts of work. Comparing only totals hides different deliverables behind the same word “website”.
My landing page projects start at RUB 70,000, multi-page websites at RUB 100,000 and online stores at RUB 120,000. These are starting prices; exact costs follow discussion of structure, design, content and functionality.
Here is how to plan a 2026 website budget, what an estimate should include and which post-launch expenses to consider.
Costs for different website types
Choose a format for the business goal first. One service may need a landing page, several areas may suit a multi-page site, and product sales need a catalogue and checkout.
The following are my starting prices for planning, not market averages or a fixed quote for every project.

Prices are current as of this article's preparation in October 2026. The final total depends on agreed scope. Two stores may differ substantially in product count, delivery methods and integrations.
Landing pages
A landing page explains one offer and leads to an enquiry, booking or purchase.
Cost depends on more than section count: content readiness, design complexity, forms and additional journeys matter. Custom artwork and a calculator can take more work than several simple sections.
Multi-page websites
This format suits several services, business areas or audiences. Each offer gets a page, alongside company details, case studies and terms.
Estimates account for unique layouts, navigation and content volume. Ten pages using one template differ from ten individually structured pages.
Online stores
Plan the full journey from product discovery to order confirmation.
Catalogue, product pages, variants, filters, cart, payments and delivery affect cost. Product uploads and external data exchange need separate assessment.
Member area platforms
Define who accesses materials, how registration works and what happens after payment.
Describe user roles and journeys before estimating. Complex needs require checking platform feasibility and additional solutions.
What development costs include
A finished site involves a sequence of tasks. If a proposal omits stages, clarify who performs them and their budget impact.
Brief, structure and wireframes
Establish the audience and intended visitor action, then sections, page content and presentation order.
Wireframes validate logic before visual design. They make missing pricing, terms and next-step information easier to identify.
Design and adaptation
Design covers composition, typography, colour and visual emphasis on desktop and mobile.
Custom graphics, complex animations and multiple design directions increase work. Include them when they explain the product or support the brand.
Development and setup
Layouts become working pages with buttons, forms, navigation and agreed features.
Describe payments, CRM transfer and special journeys early. “Connect a CRM” can mean simple enquiry transfer or extensive synchronisation.
Content and population
Copy, photography, video and product cards take time. Placing supplied content differs from creating it.
Agree what the client supplies, what the contractor prepares and how much population is included.
Testing and launch
Test forms, links, responsive layouts and key journeys before publication. Stores also need checkout and payment-flow checks.
Record domain connection, basic SEO and management access handover in the estimate.
Tilda website costs
Tilda provides page-building and content tools, but a professional still needs to prepare structure, design, materials and settings.
I build complete Tilda websites. My published landing-page and multi-page packages include brief analysis, wireframes, design, development, mobile adaptation, basic SEO, domain connection and a management guide.
The exact project scope is agreed before starting. Writing copy from scratch, bulk product entry and unusual integrations need separate agreement.
Development and the Tilda subscription are separate budget items. Clarify whether the platform fee is included, for how long and who renews it.
Why quotes differ
Prices change with scope and working terms. One contractor may quote building supplied designs, another the full process from structure to launch, while both call it a complete website.
To compare fairly, send contractors the same information:
Website goals and visitor actions.
Expected sections and pages.
Design requirements.
Features and integrations.
Copy and image readiness.
Desired launch date.
Compare stages, design deliverables, content scope, revisions and post-handover support.
Provider type matters but does not determine quality by itself. Look at relevant work, clear terms and attention to your brief.
Expenses after launch
The budget may extend beyond development. Some expenses keep the site running; others support growth and visitor acquisition.
Platform and domain
Check subscription cost, billing period and renewal. For domains, compare registration with the following year's renewal price.
Arrange accounts and access so the owner can manage the site and pay renewals independently.
Support and updates
After launch, you may need pages, price changes, replacement content or functional updates.
Plan support separately. Occasional tasks suit some projects; others benefit from ongoing support with an agreed scope.
Promotion and advertising
Basic launch SEO is not ongoing promotion. Attracting visitors may need articles, new landing pages, advertising and analysis.
A finished website does not guarantee enquiries. The business offer, traffic quality and enquiry handling also affect results.
Connected services
CRM, email, booking and other services may involve fees. For online sales, check payment-provider terms and related operating costs separately.
Ask for paid services to be listed before development, so you can assess ongoing costs as well as launch.
Reducing the budget sensibly
Use priorities: decide what launch requires and what can follow.
Start with the core task. A complex member area may be unnecessary when the first goal is enquiries for one service.
Prepare content early. Current prices, service details, photos and terms reduce delays and rework.
Reuse templates where appropriate. Similar services or products do not always need separate designs.
Approve structure before design. Adding sections after development affects more stages than changing a wireframe.
Separate launch and growth. Release essential functionality first and assess additions separately.
Form testing, mobile adaptation and owner access should remain part of the agreed deliverable.
What to check in an estimate
Ask for the following to be recorded:
Pages and unique layouts.
Features and integrations.
Who prepares copy, photos and other assets.
Content scope: pages, products and posts.
Approval stages and revisions.
Timelines, payment and handover.
Paid services and renewals.
Access and management instructions.
Post-launch issue handling.
“Complete website” becomes meaningful alongside this list. Clear initial agreements make the total budget easier to assess.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get an exact quote without a technical specification?
A short brief can provide a preliminary range. An exact estimate requires agreement on pages, features, content and design. The document can be simple, but both sides must understand scope.
What does “from” mean?
It is a starting price, not a fixed fee for every project of that type. The final cost depends on requirements agreed before work.
Does development include promotion?
My landing-page and multi-page packages include basic SEO. Ongoing promotion, articles and ad campaigns are agreed separately.
Can I order design first?
Yes. Design and development can be separate, but budget for both: a mock-up still needs to become a working site.
Can the price change during a project?
New pages, features or extra content change the scope. Agree costs before carrying out additions.
Getting an estimate
Describe the business, website goal, required features and timeline. Include references and prepared materials if available.
I can help choose a format and define scope so you can assess development, launch and ongoing expenses.
